Petrow Vincent & Kane, P.C. is a growing CPA firm located on the north side of Indianapolis. This paid
position provides a comprehensive training program and real world public accounting experience.
Opportunity - During the internship, the employee will have an opportunity to:
- Complete several “real world” case studies during their first week to ten days to provide the foundation
to help start them on the right track - Work on the same types of projects full-time staff accountants are assigned during the first year or two
of their careers - Participate in a team approach to gathering, analyzing and completing projects
- Use integrated accounting, depreciation, tax and office software to complete assignments
- Consult with professionals at various levels within the firm
- Assist with projects involving numerous industries and tax structures
Qualifications - We look forward to discussing our internship opportunity with candidates who meet the
following requirements:
- Completed junior year in college with approximately 10-12 accounting hours
- Willing to commit to a 60+ work week from February through April with no other employment during the
internship - Good communication skills
- Comfortable talking to clients on the phone or in person
- Self-starter; is motivated and has a strong desire to succeed
- Willing to spend a semester learning in a non-classroom setting with no other educational commitments
during the internship - Enjoys challenging work and has a strong desire to learn
